"... as broken as I felt inside growing up without parents this <music> was something that made me feel complete ... I just wanted to learn to cultivate that same feeling. I had no clue it would become my career ..."
Calen's first music experiences began at the age of 9 or 10 with listening to dollar store radios and jamming jazz instruments
I remember being 9 or 10 listening to these dollar store radios and jamming smooth jazz instruments all day. I hadn't started messing around with music until I was 15 being I had no one to take an interest in investing into that, but we had a technology afterschool class where I was attending and their were midi keyboards and laptops available for the students to use I knew howe listening to beautiful music made me feel especially instrumentals and as broken as I felt inside growing up without parents this was something that made me feel complete and apart of me just wanted to learn to cultivate that same feeling.
